Driver Side Map Light Doesn't work

I was replacing my map lights with LEDs ones. The Passenger one worked fine. I plugged in both and tried turn them on. Neither worked.

So I replaced the fuse and the driver side won't turn on. I put the old bulb in it still doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Both map lights are on the same fuse, so I doubt the fuse is the culprit if the right side works ok. The old driver side bulb could be burnt out, explaining it's non operation. Try reversing the LED bulb in the socket. By this I mean pull it out of the socket, rotate it 180 degrees, and put it back in the socket. LEDs can be installed backwards, and they won't turn on if the polarity is reversed.

Also, check the little leads (the little metal wire things sticking out of the base of the LED) and make sure they're not broken, or sticking off to the side or something.

Hope that helps, and Good Luck!:tiphat:
