On cleaning? Just a stiff bristled brush I'd guess, but it's rare for me to get into the car with dirty shoes..

I'll do a DIY when I get these in..
awesome dood ill be waiting for ur update on this...

yah, but those aftermarket ones look like biscuits or something...

you're still going to be screwing on the metal over the plastic gas pedal housing, correct? that will place your pedal closer to you (not sure if that's an issue for you but functionally it will be for me as i have long legs vs short arms).

i still think the factory one looks better.

Agreed!

I went ahead and ordered the touring brake and clutch pedals. Didn't order the gas pedal assembly yet. I'll update pics whenever I get them in.

Update on the SRP pedals:

I have patterned both the throttle, pedals and foot rest and forwarded this to SRP. They are going to custom Cad Cam a set for me to test fit and add them to their catalog if it all goes as planned...Expect something very soon on these..

dang, modshack. good job. so how long does SRP usually take to do these new designs? days or weeks? guess ill take a look before making a decision.

btw, can they make the gas pedal like 3mm thick? thinner the better.

I have been trying to get Ultimatepedals to make a set since I got the car 8 months ago. They are only 30 min. away and I even said I would do most of the work, abut they just do not seem to care.

I had a long chat with the owner today...I got the impression it wouldn't take long at all. He insisted that they do a custom template off my patterns, even if a minor change from their existing offerings like the Porsche pedals, which I think would be right on the money. It's all Cad-Cam, so drawing to finished product is hours, not weeks. He also noticed my heel pad (which he manufacturers), and suggested that we could pattern one precisely to the rubber mat area of the floormats. Based on this, I suspect having a thin Gas pedal done would not be an issue. They seem to be very willing to work on custom and stock applications..
