The car still has 40k miles on it. The odo is right. The motor has 0 miles. Read your manual for break in. Off the top of my head it's 1200 miles not taking it over 4k rpm, no cruise control. Also, vary your rpm often on the freeway and get some engine braking in to let the rings see some vacuum. You may use a little oil at first. Use dino oil not synthetic for the first ~5k miles or so, then switch.
Get in the habit of checking your oil once a week at minimum, and at least every other oil change send a sample out to Blackstone Labs for an analysis. You pretty much scored here. Your warranty got you a brand new motor for $50. You just rolled back the clock on the car big time.
