1) I do

2) Yes, the contrast of them and the way the pieces look in direct sunlight is stare-worthy

3) standard weave (aerojacket, evo, shine ect seem to have the same patterns)

hmm, interesting..

how would i even know how many layers of CF are on something? or how many layers are needed for certain pieces?

1 layer "might" work for like our antenna piece or dash kit, but i doubt 1 layer is sufficient enough for lets say a front bumper or something of that proportion

Most CF parts you look at are FRP covered in one sheet of CF to add the look of CF to the part. So keep in mind most times you dont get dry carbon real vacuum pressed parts. Unless of course you are paying premium prices.

i have a couple

they come in different ways. for instance, cf element has a few layers of carbon over original pieces. like on these interior parts. tony does beautiful work and is always great with customer service

then there is stuff like this NRG engine cover i got which is just a single layer of carbon by itself. not molded over anything. extremely light, which wasnt really a concern for me. still comes out looking great

both were worth the price for the major aesthetic improvement.

there are variations, as u can get dry carbon, carbon kevlar, colored carbon. i have only heard of fitment/quality issues on PW JDM's engine covers. but that was a long time ago, and may have been remedied since then

I think I have around 20 different CF parts. They are beautiful and I would never go back, lol.

Companies are Aerojacket, Seibon, Evo-R, and Zcfcovers. Each utilizes the same standard CF weave.

Seibon is amazing quality. They do not have any fiberglass in their products. Its 100% carbon fiber:tup:

I have a CF addiction....can't get enough...within moderation lol.
