dry carbon fiber is super expensive, super light..
wet carbon fiber is the standard stuff you find which affordable. I could be wrong..but im sure that's the most simple answer I found out when I googled the difference. |

I only have 3 CF parts on my car:
-Brake/Radiator Covers in engine bay -Canards on front bumper -NISMO b-pillar covers I am actually not a big fan of CF, can tend to look really tacky when overdone |

I believe the look is slightly different between dry and wet.

I have one carbon fiber piece in my interior and it is the shift ring, and once installed that hooked me on the importance of strategically placed CF in the interior. Definitely an improvement. I'm a little selfish when it comes to where to put the CF, as I'm only interested in places where I the driver will see it and as a cover for the cheaply visible silver plastic. It's a sports car, sports car, and silver plastic does not belong on the dash or console!
Right now many of us are waiting for CarbonSignal to release the instrument bezel covers that are left and right of the tach. As you know they are plastic aluminum and look out of place, but they are located in the most visible part of the interior, the driver's view. For me once, those are in place then the next step will be to campaign for a CF cover on each of the three gauge rings. Again covered in a aluminum plastic. After that, I'm done. |

EVO-R sells the center console. However, they sell it as a two-piece unit. They may just sell you the flip door only.

For interior, buy it from carbon signal.
For the CF question, get the best weave which is twill weave, looks waaaay better. To answer wet and carbon, carbon has the dull/unfinished looked and is meant for weight saving performance purposes while wet has the glossy look which does weigh savings but not as light as dry carbon. Wet carbon is generally purchased for aesthetic purposes. One trick some enthusiasts do is they wet sand the wet carbon and re-clear it with satin clear coat to kind of get the dry carbon look.
