Official Monterey Blue 370Z Z34 Thread

It's pretty clear from the pic that the sub is on top of the wheel.

The blue looks much better in person than in the pics IMO.

The Bose sub on the 350 was in a compartment behind the driver's seat.

This is probably the color I will be getting.

I'm also eyeing the black and graphite colors.

Ha ha ha ha ha. This is great thank ak370z, that made my day. The subwoofer looks like exactly what they used in the rsx-s. You can take out the spare and just mount the sub back into place. I think there would be a spacer in there just to make it secure. What Shumby no sly remarks. That color is the most beautiful blue pearl I have ever seen.

I wonder how heavy the sub is? Do you think it can be disconnected and removed for track days?

I honestly don't think it would be worth the trouble unless you take out the spare as well. I do belive on my buddies 06 type-s it was very light for a subwoofer maybe 10 pounds, but yes I think it can be unplugged.

Am I the only person that finds it hard to believe that is the sub, for starters nissan said there is 2 subs in the touring, where is the second one?

^ this is true I know that this may be one of them. Nissan does say two subs though.

Yeah I thought that looked more like the prototype than the production.

That sounds like a lot to me. I would only be taking it out if I was spending the day at the track, in which case I would obviously be removing the spare and any jack/tools. So spare + jack/tools + 10lb sub could easily be 40-50lbs of weight saving.

Depends you may save more weight than that.
