Good to hear. The 10inch bose sub that's in my Solstice thumps really hard... It's rare when I get in a car with a bose sub and I'm not impressed at all. But I'm also not an audio equipment snob. :)

shumby 01-01-2009 04:10 PM

notice how this is a color thread and everyone is now talking about the blows speakers now. That is because MB is such a boring colour. lol Back on topic guys. Or better yet Start a Bose stereo thread I bet other would like to read about this and voice their .02

18rgcelica73 01-01-2009 11:07 PM

^ That is because MB is so awesome that words escape the person.

Awesome pics.

18rgcelica73 01-03-2009 10:59 AM

Thanks ak this you just keep confirming what I want in color.

Namir 01-03-2009 06:43 PM

That last set of pictures looks like it was edited quite a bit. I don't think thats how blue the car actually looks in person.

But then again I actually haven't seen it in person yet. Nice pictures though, car looks great.

18rgcelica73 01-04-2009 04:17 PM

Remember that lighting in pictures is everything. Bad lighting or a bad angle can completely ruin a cars looks than if it were seen in person.

LynxFX 01-04-2009 08:33 PM

Finally saw a MB in person. It is a hard color to photograph. If you are off on your white balance it will come out the wrong shade. The last few pics are too dark and the photos are oversaturated (the way off yellow gives it away). Looks sweet and isn't far off, but still misleading. It also isn't that light blue that shows up in a lot of pics. The closest I found based on my monitor is this picture:
http://www.the370z.com/images/japan%...70Z_com_10.jpg
The changing shades from light to dark based on light really shows off this color.

But it does look beautiful and really shows off the curves of the vehicle. I wasn't thinking of the MB before, but now after seeing silver, graphite, black and red, it is the best color with Platinum Graphite being second. Black looks nice clean but the only time I saw a clean black one was in the showroom. Anytime they were outside, dust was already gathering even though they were washed that morning. Solid red doesn't do anything for me, and the silver is too light. I really want to see white and yellow in person to make a final decision.

FricFrac 01-04-2009 11:57 PM

I think the blue (and red) really shows the curves of the car - black and white seem to wash it out...

We're gonna have to add Prussian blue to the title as well for the Canadian versions ;)

18rgcelica73 01-05-2009 01:58 AM

The pearl in the paint is what really gives it that awesome kick. Really lets you see where the body lines and fender flares come together.

Z34drifty 01-18-2009 12:24 AM

...should of looked at it when I got my oil changed

Z34drifty 01-18-2009 12:25 AM

That blue touring auto with navigation is going to be mine in 6 months
hopefully the price goes down by then I can't wait anylonger

Zissou 01-18-2009 12:55 AM

i had a BOSE sub located in my spare of my RSX; cut it open to get a better look and they are nothing more than a 6.5" woofer, they were a joke, but better than nothing.

Zerafian 01-18-2009 01:55 AM

for some reasons I dont see this color selling very well....but I dont know...Maybe since I mainly see silver, red, black, or white being shipped over.

Crash 01-18-2009 04:30 AM

I do like the color after seeing those lase few pics, but I'm still going to stick with white.

3SeventyZ 01-18-2009 07:26 AM

The blue was my second choice.
Too bad they didn't stick with the Daytona Blue or I would have been all over that.

Z34drifty 01-19-2009 12:49 AM

I agree but still blue is my color for a Z

I was wondering when you would post pictures!

I believe you have captured the best shots of MB in the sun. Thank you so much.

Thanks! It really does make a big difference when someone is deciding what color they should get. When I was buying my car, I browsed through these color threads everyday.

BTW, I just absolutely LOVE how this paint give that glossy white reflections in the sun. Almost like a stretched salt water taffy!

http://i576.photobucket.com/albums/s...m/DSC01280.jpg

I have received positive feedback from everyone that seen my car. I went to a doctors office couple days ago. One of the RN went outside to smoke( I know, RN smoking = bad habit). When she came back, she walked in the lobby and said, " Who own that blue sports car?"; Me, ":raises hand: ME!". Her, "This is an amazing color. I have yet to such a sharp color on a car. Very nice!" Me, "thank you" Basically, that made my day :D.

I love the blue so much on this car.

Now I am just trying to figure out what wheels would look good on this color. Thoughts?

18rgcelica73 03-03-2009 10:22 AM

AK you should post a picture up of yourself next to the 370z as everyone does with their new car. I think we should make a thread for posting pictures up of ourselves next to what ever car we have now.

dankirlin 04-07-2009 08:47 PM

Heres a few pics of my car (montery blue) if anyone is still deciding on a color. I know reading through this forum helped me decide to get the blue, so i'm just returning the favor.

Absolutely agree. I was on the forum since day 1. I have seen thousands of 370Z pictures. But I still had to spend quite some time in the official color threads to decide what color I wanted.

More monterey blue

I've seen 1 Monterrey Blue in person, and its darker than most pictures here, with the exception of these. To my eyes, they are the closest to what Monterrey Blue looks like in the wild.
