It depends on the plastic formulation. Corvette wheel center caps, which are marked PPA+PA (I think), don't melt at 380. Nissan centercaps which are ABS melt at about 200F, Honda ones melt at 180. Corvette engine covers can handle the heat, Nissan melt at 220. LS plastic manifolds, as well as FAST composite manifolds can be powdercoated and handle the heat.
