Thoughts of plasti dipping the rims of my black z flat black? Any pictures

I'm thinking of plasti dipping my car's stock rays flat black along with the emblems and door handles. Any thoughts on how it would look? Would it be too much

When you get done i think you will be surprised how good it actually looks. Buy a can of the clear gloss too. If the flat black dries and isnt what you thought...then spray a light coat of the gloss and keep going till you get what you are looking for. Worked really well for me. You can always take it all off.

I've had mine dipped for about a year as well. Even went through a tire replacement. There are some scuffs and scratches from that but otherwise have held up surprisingly well.

IMO- painting is much better as far as the look. Especially if you are going for a gloss look. However, if you are looking for a quick fix plasti is the way to go. And as someone said you can just peel it right off.

Mine has lasted through a tire change as well. Plastidip is a pretty amazing product though, even where they scuffed and scratched it up you can reapply. The way it flattens out its pretty hard to screw up.
I scrub it at carwash with brush also... never worry about it.

I feel like the 370z plastidip queen.. DuffDaddy is the king.. PM me if you have questions...

I have done my 370z wheels about 20x since owning the car. Originally had matte black for about a year though. Washed it and did touch ups regularly..

Id suggest buying a can of glossifier though. Really takes the wheels up a notch..
