The red turtle has cracks underneath the surface of it. You can't feel them, but they're there. Little lines running through it.

I don't follow. It has cracks, but you can't feel them. How do you know they're there? Did you take it apart or something to check or can you actually see it?

I'm at sort if a loss, looking at my tk knob I fail to see how knob could crack where I could see in turtle like the pics. Seems odd.

It's probably whatever glue they used to attach the turtle that has cracked. Probably due to dryness.
