ive never cracked a shift knob.

I don't see anything. I see machining marks and maybe marks on that red sticker?

The red turtle has cracks underneath the surface of it. You can't feel them, but they're there. Little lines running through it.

I don't follow. It has cracks, but you can't feel them. How do you know they're there? Did you take it apart or something to check or can you actually see it? :confused:

You can see them, hard to capture with a picture but they're there.

I've seen them come in cracked with stocking orders, sorry to see you got one of them

I'm at sort if a loss, looking at my tk knob I fail to see how knob could crack where I could see in turtle like the pics. Seems odd.

Well there's always the possibility it's a Shanzhai counterfeit.

It's probably whatever glue they used to attach the turtle that has cracked. Probably due to dryness.
