I need to do something with my cup holder. The silver ring is peeling off. Looks good!

You can easily scuff it up and prime/base/clear coat it anyway you want. I'd match it to your cars exterior color.

Rings on the center guages mainly! I've been curious to see what red would look like in there and now that I got red LEDs in the floor board I might just have to get this done

I pretty much followed these steps.

DIY: Triple Gauge Cluster

Once your done removing the covers everything else is just 3 clips away from removing every silver piece. It's all down hill from there. You can see where exactly to push down to release the clips at that point.
