Exterior Mirrors
I need help deciding which route to go for my external mirrors. I have a stock PW Z, I was thinking of getting either the EVO-R CF mirror covers, black vinyl, or paint them black?
What are your thoughts on the EVO-R CF ones? does it looks good from up close? I know from far they look gloss black which accents the PW nicely. Thanks for the help! |

Hey Mister 6MT-Z34
Why did not the Zele covers on your list? I have the last 4 years and they still look like new  My 2 Cents... http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1395423999 NISSAN 370Z - Zele Performance Parts | Zele Performance Global Website Greetings |

I'm sorry but you have not listed the best option available.
Craftsquare FTW :tiphat: |
EVO-R CF F1 Mirrors are modeled after the craftsquare and have better looking backing plates.

leave it stock or get cs

If you decide to be a masochist and order from Evo-R, order from the Z Store. Jay at Evo R likes to take so long that you're outside of the window for Paypal to help you. The Z store will tell you if they have any in stock. Evo R will just take your money and one day sometime in the future mail you a product. AK shut him down as a vendor for a while since he kept pulling crap like that. Buy the Zele ones if you want mirror covers.

Paint the black parts pearl white to match the rest of your car?

Craftsquare ftw.

CS is nice but you loose convenience. Your gf will need to spot for you or get a long stick so you can adjust from drivers side :)

Thanks for all the info. I did not put the craftsquare or evo-r F1 mirrors, because I want to keep the automated and heated future on my mirrors. I dd my car so its something that do not want to give up just yet lol.
Zilverbullet, I want to create some contrast and not just have the whole car white lol. Im thinking of doing a black vinyl room, black headlights but I don't know if gloss or cf mirrors would flow better with what im trying to achieve. |
If you're going to have carbon fiber as an accent somewhere else on the car, then I would go for the Zele or IMPUL carbon fiber mirror covers. They will blend in pretty well if you plan on having carbon fiber somewhere else (b pillar cover, front lip, side skirts, rear trunk spoiler, rear lip, roof, hood, etc.).

Most stuff is out of stock. If they tell you it'll be in stock in "2 weeks",double that(if you are lucky. The truth is,EVO-R gets their stuff made in Taiwan at a large plant. They have to schedule parts to be on a production schedule as this place makes CF parts for all types of cars.Jay gets say,10 sets made as he's got o pay upfront(I think). When theey are sold, they are gone until the next slot or he's got the $$.I've delt with this crap one too many times. I buy my CF stuff from vendors who have the parts in stock and you can communicate.THe best I've seen is ZCFcovers. They don't make morroe covers. However,ZCF makes neat mirror base accents in CF. |

It's a shame. There's almost $2k of parts I want to order from the guy but I can't based on the way he does business. I'll pay more to get the real items just so I know I'll actually receive product. |

All these carbon parts are very hard to make. For example our CF exterior door covers, 4 out of 10 when we make gets destroy. Whenever there is a problem we make corrections to satisfy customer's expectation. Usually if an item takes too long to make, I always ask customer if they like to wait or cancel the order. It is my fault to keep Zstore hanging on some orders. Sometime factory just cannot make parts on time. But once its in, I ship out ASAP.

I have had no problems with EVO-R, I sent them a PM before with an issue I had with their EVO-R foglight and got a replacement in a very swift manner, about a week or less IIRC.
