Got a set of sport calipers and theres a tiny chip on the side of the front caliper where the nissan emblem is. It is probably not very noticeable unless i am up close to it but sometimes i can be anal about little things like that. Dont judge.
Would it be okay to find a color matching touch up paint or would it be better to just repaint the entire caliper? I am well aware that there is a big price difference between the two options but will i be able to find a touch up paint that matches the color of the caliper? i thought the OEM caliper is black but somehow it seems like a dark gun metallic with tiny metallic flakes. i will try to have some pics up tomorrow |

I had the same problem... Me and my buddy were installing my sport calipers on my Base model and he hit it with a wrench...

i would just use enamel and touch it up. ive been real careful on my Z, but on my G's brembo's i have like 2 knicks on the corner from hitting it with the wheel barrel early on...
![]() i used regular touch up paint and it's holding up fine, but if you're anal i suggest using some engine enamel paint (high heat). |
