Rim/Tire Size

I do apologize in advance if I have misplaced this question. Okay. So, I have the stock rims with the stock tires. I am wondering if 18" rims would still fit okay on the stock tires ? I have some in mind that are 18 x 8.75 Front, and 18 x 9.75 Rear.

I'm no expert but I don't think it's a good idea to put a 19" tire on an 18" rim.

Chuck33079 03-12-2014 10:42 PM

XXRs? Stay with stock.

Me thinks you are right.:inoutroflpuke:

I am guessing OP has 18 stock rims (base).

WTF is a base model? J/k I didn't think of that. In that case I agree with chuck.

Chuck33079 03-13-2014 08:08 AM

Isn't XXR the only ones with the .75 sizes?

madmike23 03-13-2014 10:29 AM

It should fit. But you do have the option to go wider on the tires. I'd go wider.

kenchan 03-13-2014 10:30 AM

yah, i noticed them having odd sizes too.

i keep forgetting wat the front stock 18 tire sizes are, but if the are like 225's, then 8.75 will be kinda wide... stretched.

Malm 03-13-2014 01:20 PM

Fronts are 225/50r18 95w

Backs 245/45r18 96w

On 18" base wheels

kenchan 03-13-2014 01:37 PM

wow 225/50 is like sedan tires. lol

They do their job... in the city.
Would like to go wider but dont know what to do with my current tires. No room for storage.

Wwalsto 03-13-2014 02:50 PM

I have the sport model, and I believe it comes with 19" stock rims. And yes, XXR's

Oh... okay... then the 18" tires arent gonna fit. :tiphat:

Chuck33079 03-13-2014 02:52 PM

Are you asking if you can put 19" tires on 18" wheels? No. Also, your stock Sport wheels are better in every way than XXRs. What you're trying to do is a massive downgrade in every way.

Wwalsto 03-13-2014 02:57 PM

Alright. Thank you all for the info :)

Mr&Mrs 03-13-2014 04:51 PM

I stand by my first comment now. GL on your wheel search OP.
