Clear bra and a lip

I have the clear bra on my front bumper and I'm wondering if I can just mount an EVO R lip to the bumper or do I need need to cut the clear bra so the lip attaches better?

I would think you can install it without doing anything to your clear bra. Are you going to clear bra the new lip?

My lip is stuck on over the clear bra with no issues.

op- that's a good question. clearbra is a service item and i usually replace it every 3yrs or sooner depending on how much impact wear or discoloration it might have.

if you are okay with removing your lip when the time comes to replace your clearbra, should be no issue mounting it over the bra. use some rubbing alcohol to remove any wax prior to install.

Cool beans thanks for the answers!

Riptide, I thought about it but probably won't. I PMed alot of others with an unfinshed lip about pitting and such, they said nothing was wrong or they used Krylon.

I taped my Stillen to my clear bra. And when I had to take it off (didn't see a dip in the grass when parking & shattered it), the clear bra stayed on and was ok. Honestly, I was surprised.
