Sideskirts to Match Front lip?

I wanted to know everyone's opinion on what side skirts what look best with my seibon ns lip that I got. I definitely need to get some side skirts cause the car just doesn't look right with just that lip alone. I've been thinking about the shine auto set or maybe the seibon ns side skirts as well. Any opinions?

Update: Ended up going with the spec-s from shine auto

Those would work, or EVO-R blades.

stear 02-05-2014 09:07 PM

Yeah I was considering the evo-r as well, does anyone have pictures of their seibon ns front lip installed with a set of side skirts?

KaienZ34 02-05-2014 09:15 PM

CS side blades.

stear 02-05-2014 09:32 PM

Are those the carbon signal ones?

KaienZ34 02-05-2014 09:38 PM

Yes sir, my personal favorite.

Grindkiezer 02-05-2014 09:44 PM

Invest in skirts if you're going to change them, the sideblades are okay but don't make a huge difference

stear 02-05-2014 10:13 PM

Yeah you guys think i should change the whole side skirt or just get some side blades?

KaienZ34 02-05-2014 10:22 PM

Up to you, it's totally personal preference.

Change the whole skirt, I know it's a little extra money but it looks much better. I had blades for a couple months but the skirts make a huge difference

What side skirts did you end up getting?

Grindkiezer 02-06-2014 01:59 PM

I had Evo-r Cf side blades but then got Shineauto Cf skirts, they "flow" better with my Shineauto rear spats and Evo-r front lip

stear 02-06-2014 02:17 PM

Yeah right now I'm leaning towards shine auto ss the spec-s? And where'd you order from?

Luciano13 02-06-2014 04:10 PM

I would personally go with the "new" Nismo side skirts.
I have the NS lip and shine auto Sr or spec-s(on my car now)
It looks great but because the NS lip is quite big on the side, i think the New Nismo sides would match it perfectly. After all, the Seibon NS stands for Nismo S-Tune:tup:

I see haha are the do you know where i'd be able to get a set of those or are those the ones from seibon?

Seibon I believe only has the older style Nismo side skirts....
If you're looking for carbon fiber?, the SR Seibon skirts are amazing.
Seibon does have the NS CF skirts, and the only real difference from the SR is at the rear tire, the |SR faces down, where the NS faces upwards....
If you have SR rear add ns, the SR would be the better fit.

Luciano13 02-06-2014 07:09 PM

My mistake:shakes head:
|Seibon doesn't make the SR style skirts.
Sorry for that Stear:tiphat:
Shine auto makes a good SR style CF skirt

stear 02-06-2014 07:23 PM

Haha that's ok. I'm actually probably gonna order the shineauto spec-s ones tomorrow in cf. those are the sr style ones you're referring to I'm assuming?

This is what I have and they look great, like I said, they flow really well and make you look a little lower

Yeah hopefully it turns out well cause the lip has such an aggressive look I think.

That's them.
A little tip..... Make sure u tell them you're not painting them. That u need the finish to be near perfect.
I went through with this with them..... Make sure u tell them you're showing the carbon fiber and it needs to be bubble free:tup:

Oh wow thanks. Actually ken said that they had one in stock right now so I'm hoping the finish on that one is nice so I won't have to wait a long time for them to make a new one

nismolucino 02-07-2014 01:10 AM

What I plan on doing is the shine auto skirts in carbon but painting the upper parts so the exposed carbon on the bottom kind of looks like the side blades but will flow so much better.

stear 02-07-2014 02:09 AM

Oh that's true I think that would flow nice too, be sure to upload some pics of that when you do it !
