Carbon Fiber look OEM strut brace
Hey guys, just wanted to show a new product that one of our vendors just came out with. This is a new process that allows them to transfer any image onto any metal item in the form of powdercoat. This is not watertransfer/hydrodip. I repeat, this is NOT water transfer. The strut bar is 100% powdercoated and the image is baked into the powdercoat, creating a very durable finish. The company that is doing this has offer us this carbon fiber look to start with, but can do special requests for an additional charge. All you have to do is send a high res image that you want to transfer onto the part. We have seen the strut bar in person and it looks much more realistic than the carbon fiber water transfer stuff we've seen in the past.
For pricing and details just PM us or call Mike at this number, 813-8681100. You can send your bar in to get it done, or we can work with a part exchange. |

Yes, that is my buddy who's shop has started doing this. He contacted me since we work on a lot of 370z's. Figured I would post it here to get exposure for the product/service. Pricing will be the same as what is listed on ebay. Basically the bars are expensive to purchase out right. The imaging itself will run $225 not counting the shipping to and from if you send your own bar.
He has this first complete bar and can do a core exchange. If you send your bar in, you will get $125 off the $400 price. He will need that bar to then send out and get imaged. It takes a few weeks to complete a new bar. So you can pay $225 plus shipping and wait a couple weeks for your own bar to get imaged, or pay $400 plus shipping to you for this bar and get a $125 credit when your good bar gets sent back. |

Also, please realize that this can be done to any metal part you can think of. Brake calipers, compressor housings, wheels, wheel lips, you name it. Wheels is where this started as they needed something durable to be able to mount on and not get damaged.

Yes, never seen anything like this. His website is Custom Wheels and Tires - Advance Performance Tire and Wheel Tampa Florida
Take a look in their projects section for more samples of what they are doing. He just told me they got an account to do this imaging on Profile Racing's bicycle hubs. They are doing a Matte Navy Camo. |

Could you image transfer my signature photo onto the bar?

No, it is the stock brace. We just didn't pull the the owner of the car's brace to take those photos. Sorry if that pic was confusing. There are two stock braces in the pics. The normal one installed on the car and the imaged one we laid on top for those couple photos to show what it would look like installed.
