Motorspray. Some of it is just relabeled brake cleaner. And since brushed rc racing died years ago I haven't seen it in shops in a while. Last edited by Kenwoodturbo; 01-26-2014 at 01:24 PM. |

Closest would be electronic contact cleaner You can find motorspray on ebay, hobby shops. Most are voc compliant now. |

Most if that stuff is rebranded items you can buy just about anywhere. Especially old brushed motor items. Last edited by Kenwoodturbo; 01-26-2014 at 03:42 PM. |

im just kidding. motor spray is good. i use it all the time. TA Emerald PerformancePlus3 (pre-VOC), Dynamite Magnumforce2 are both approved by kenchan. one can still get them readily. ive not tried the PerformancePlus4 yet, but im assuming its okay to use on painted car bits as well. |

my fingers still stinks even after washing with soap a few times. |

How do I get at the corner of mine? It's not a badge that sticks out. It's a decal with separate letters and all, and with some conservative heating via hairdryer (don't wanna melt my paint or something), I couldn't get under any letter of the decal to start pulling it off.
Pic for reference: http://i.imgur.com/SsfWH8Y.jpg It's the "Melloy" sticker/decal thingy.

i would warm it up and use my fingernail to lift it up like 1mm. then i have these super fine point tweezers that i would use to pull up some more, then pull the rest by finger tips.
those decals you can peel up like yogurt lid. no need to pull horizontally. take your time so that the adhesive doesnt separate from the liner. not that it's the end of the world, you can remove it by motorspray, wax, wd40, googone, adhesive remover, gasoline, polish, etc. |

Not going to make it a Mello sticker like so many do out there? I grew up right behind the dealership that was on Lomas! Anyway I always just use my finger nail to get it started. I just did the one on my Jeep all with my finger nail before I left the dealership. Then I took a little rubbing alcohol took the residue off then did a quick wax after I got home. Easy stuff. Took all of 5 minutes on a Dealership name that was a lot longer than Melloy Datsun! Opps Nissan. Oh I also did one on our new company truck while I was down in Phoenix over the weekend. |

I just used some soapy water and my finger nail. I just slowly picked at it. Took forever but totally did the trick. Goo gone to get rid of the left over adhesive.
