anyone try PAINTING or making body panels?
i was wondering if anyone here has tried to paint there own panels with OEM paint code instead of getting a body shop to do it.
and wondering if anyone has also tried creating there own body panels with real cf, FB glass or poly E |

I've made a carbon fiber/nomex honeycomb pin on hood for a different car. 7.8 lbs. Not sure if it would be worth it for the Z, I think the hood only weighs 20 some lbs? Material cost was $600 or so, and pin on hoods are no fun on a DD. It was fun, however, to flap your hood around in one arm like a wing, or see an object with such surface area weigh as much as a Pomeranian.
