How do i install shine auto skirts.
Wondering how i go about installing the shine auto skirts... original skirts have the clips while the shine auto ones have no clips.
|
Shine skirts for the 350 install using the 10mm bolts used to attach the
OEM skirts to the body. Are holes pre drilled on the Shine skirts? |
Yep the new skirts have the holes for the bolts.
Couple on the bottom and 2 at the front and rear |
I did mine myself. Use this to pull off your oem skirts. 370Z Nismo Side Sill Protector
I recommend having someone help you hold up the skirt to the car and check fitment but you don't necessarily have to. Then drill holes accordingly to the drill slots in the skirt if they match up to the holes in the oem skirts. Use the same bolts you had on the car and go ahead and put those suckers on. I started with the wheel well screws and then put the bottom ones on, but it could be different for you. Like I stated earlier, things would run a lot smoother with a second set of hands holding the skirt up while you install the shine. Hope this helps. :tiphat: |
Was abit of a mission getting the stocks ones off :p
So all i need are the oem bolt holes 2 on front+rear and the bolts on the bottom? What about the middle section seeing as the new skirts don't have clips anymore |
