Decided to go with this emblem. A perfect match with the fenders.

How easy was it to do?

Consider a person who has very very little technical ability. Id love to detagg my rear, and add a black Z on the front and back.

edit: Looking at the OP's tags link. I am a bit nervous about trying to peel up the emblems.. and then figure out what to use to clean the glue..

Not hard, note I actually let gurneyeagle do it since he has done it before.
His steps were, heat up the old emblems with a hair dryer, slowly start getting underneath them to loosen the glue or whatever is used. Peel them off, then start to get all the extra glue off the bumper down to what you can fairly easily. Then he started to use something (will let him answer this part) to wipe it down and get all the last bits of glue left and clean the bumper.

After that line up the new emblems and stick them on. All in all it took us maybe a little over an hour to do both front & rear.

Some fishing line helped on mine. Goo gone helped with the adhesive.

Yes that, I swear Nissan must have been dipping these cars in adhesive from the shift knobs to the emblems.
My front emblem was factory installed versus my rear which the dealership did after someone hit me. The amount of tape/glue difference was massive, the rear came off fairly easily while the front had sooo much extra.

yah, bumpers are made at another factory with the emblems attached probably, and put together with the rest of the metal body panels at the assembly plant.

If need to have our emblem with matching painted color back plate. We do offer this service.

It's tough. I really like the pearl/shiny black Z one that has been posted a few times, but I don't like the silver. The hard part is that my car is Magnetic Black, and I don't think you'd even be able to notice the different emblem if I put it on.
I have some rear bumper ding fixing (f'n people hitting my parked Z...), so I figured now's the best time to do it.

Thoughts on what looks best on a Black Z? Does anyone make a Nismo burger?

The black chrome badges look great on a black car.

I got these same emblems...they look great. Look like they came with the car...match the fender Z's perfectly.

I agree with chuck, black chrome will add a little pop and make it noticeable.
Have not seen a NISMO version instead of Nissan but might want to shoot EVO-R here a PM and see if he could produce some. Bet if you get some interest he might do it.

Bet if you get some interest he might take your money and one day sometime down the line ship you a product when he feels like it or AK locks his account until he makes good again.

Fixed.
