alright everyone.... so tonight just sucks for me... first of all... i dropped ONE SIDE of my z.... reason is cuz i stripped the head of the nut on holding the strut in place.... so i stopped because i didnt wanna start the rear.... anyways so there i am bummed out and crap that i rounded off the head... i follow my gf home... tell her lets stroll for a lil bit... so i can feel a lil bit happy from being bummed out from my eibachs... next thing u know some retard rear ends me!!! :shakes head: my gf gets down from my z and then i look in my side mirror the guy speeds off... i tell my gf to get in the car... ok now here is where i was laughing... there is no freaking wayyy... a toyota echo... can out run a z.... haha :roflpuke2: i cracked up so hard he was going in a straight line... so i took down his plates chased him a bit more but he ran a red and didnt wanna risk crashing again... omg i wanna shove my ******* shoe up that guys ***... i mean its fine... u rear end me because u didnt mean it intentionally but DONT freaking run away!!! wtf is that?!? the damage is minimal thank god all i was thinking was that bastard cracked my taillights and foglamp... but there in tact...

Good luck...Took me 3 months to get some of the parts to fix my rear end hit...

at least you got his license plate. same thing happened to me a few months back, but cops wouldnt do anything because there was only a small scratch. had to call in a favor with my other police friends to run the plates...the rest (and his car) is now history...

Im starting to wonder if dumbasses are running into the Z because they are admiring it instead of driving it.

Sorry to hear Simota1, hope getting his plates will help. How bad is the bumper, will you need a new one? If so you don't have to do the rear valence in vinyl again, you can use Modshacks trick of not paniting the valence when they pain the rest of the bumper :)

Keep us updated. No insurance is very common in this economy. May also be stolen plates/car so im hoping all goes well in getting compensated.

thanks everyone for ur support... my bumper has two holes in it.. from the license plate bolts... it looks fine but the bumper foam inside looks crushed... :shakes head: if it comes to replacing it... i will do modshack mod by not painting it on the rear valnence.. :tup:

Sorry to hear that. Now it's a good thing nobody got hurt that's the first thing. That Asshxxe should be charged with a felony hit run. There's no excuse those types of drivers who hit and run and also kill someone and are left on the road to die I have no sympathy for them. Good thing you got the plates. Your insurance will make it better again sorry about it and I'm happy you and your girlfriend are fine.

Sorry bro I know the feeling ... Last tuesday I was sitting at a stop light and I jus feel the car behind me hit me ... I was trippin cuz I jus got my Z out of the shop from another accident 3 wks ago ... fortunately she jus accidently let go of her clutch and no damage ... It's all good bro it's jus one of those days you'll get insurance to fix it and you'll be a happy camper .. Good luck !!!

Um, that only applies if you hit a person or there's injuries. It's a misdemeanor if you flee the scene of an accident, but the cop won't do **** if it's a cracked bumper or something.

I believe that varies by state, actually. (But I could be mistaken. My memory is a little rusty on this one.)

My sister was rear-ended by a girl driving one of her dad's dealership vehicles (he was a used-car dealer). She gave my sister a fake phone number and address.

Of course we find all this out later in the day when my sister came home. We called the police, they sent an officer over and talked to my sister and dad. Turns out the girl was a 'tard and only faked her house number, but gave my sister the correct street. Cop comes back to our house later at night and tells us he found the chick by driving down that street and looking for her car. Situation resolved.

i think that sometimes...i got my Z last week. I cant count how many people pay more attention to my car then the road. Today i was slowing down to stop at a set of lights, i could see out of the corning of my eye a guy on the right side of me looking at my car while he was stopping...almost hit a truck in front of him, i could even hear his tires lock up and skid.

To the OP...hopefully everything works out, did u get any pictures? I always keep my camera in my car for the reason people are retarded on the roads.
