Hood latch

Are they the two weird shaped objects on the front inside of the hood surrounding the spring? I think one is loose because the left side of my hood won't shut all the way

How do I tighten or make the hood even? I researched a little and it's happened to others but I can't figure out how to tighten it (do I need a screwdriver)? I can't find any screw holes

There should be a little "push snap" that you just pop out with a screw driver and the you and twist the latch itself clockwise/counter in order to fix your hood. If it isn't latching that means that you need to back the latch out more. So turn it counter clockwise

Edit: Look for this

Is this the latch? Just to the right of the stick to hold up the hood

Or the thing with the spring on it whih looks more like your picture? I see two of what I show but only one of the thing that looks like your picture lol

The "thing with the spring" is the safety hook.

There is a plastic "body rivet" that holds the shroud that fits over the latch. It's on the left side of the latch in your picture (the driver side latch). Remove the rivet (use a small screwdriver to pry the center pin up about 3/4" and then the whole rivet will pull out) and slide the shroud off of the latch. Adjust the latch. Reassemble.

Amazingly after giving the latch a turn without unscrewing anything, it sets correctly again. Thanks everyone!
