Improving stock HID Bulbs?

Im very keen to change my stock HID/Xenon bulbs on the 370Z as to be honest I dont find them very good/bright at night. Yes they are o.k and better

Im very keen to change my stock HID/Xenon bulbs on the 370Z as to be honest I dont find them very good/bright at night. Yes they are o.k and better than Halogen but if I jump into a company car (Volvo for example) the amount of light the HID's in those give out is a noticeable improvement. Has any replaced the stock bulbs with aftermarket ones and noticed a big improvement? Ive read up on several aftermarket bulbs which claim to be better than stock but before I spend a fair but id like to hear if they can be improved upon! Thanks
