Still unclear. I have a Touring Sport with the included "lip" style spoiler. If I purchase the Nismo S-Tune Spoiler which retails for about $800, will I have to drill

2400 for just the wing? WOW
Did you guys just get that price from the dealership or did you find that online somewhere? I'm wondering how much the NISMO body kit (no wing) would cost from nissan. |

The Nismo (not S-tune) is inflated to create an exclusive item, basically they want you to buy the Nismo.

Although my local dealer was confused and unable to get me the true Nismo spoiler, I was able to get it from Z1 motorsports. Dustin from Z1 was able to contact a Nissan dealer who understood what I was looking for.
This Nismo wing mod is a little more involved then I origionally thought. I thought that I would purchase the wing and install it. No. First, the wing/spoiler come in sections. There is a spoiler base then the wing which mounts on top of the base. The wing itself was $700 and it comes unpainted. The rest of the parts including heavier duty trunk lid shocks will run you about $2,100 to $2,400 dollars. This is for parts only. You still have to get it painted. I have not completed my spoiler upgrade, so I do not know if new holes will need to be drilled. Additionally, I do not know if the Nismo spoiler base will cover the OEM hole. If they do not, I may purchase a new rear trunk lid for a base 370 that comes with no rear spoiler, thus having no holes. I forgot who posted the quote that Nissan wanted to make the Nissmo expensive so it would be exclusive could not be any more right. This is a very costly modification All for vanity and a little bit more down force at speed... Hope my post helps.... Good luck |

Just a quick update. I finally finish the Nismo rear spoiler project. Thanks to Z1 and a local premium body shop, the spoiler parts were painted and installed. No new drilling or filling of rear deck holes was required. The Nismo wing fit perfectly.
As an addition, I bought and had the shop install the Nismo side skirts. The car looks much different. Next is a front lip, once I find one I like. Several other mods are left to be installed. SS brake lines, heal toe pedal kit, short shifter and tow hook. I will update with pictures asap. |

So you are saying that the Nismo edition spoiler (NOT THE S-TUNE) bolts right up to Sport Package spoiler holes? With no other drilling necessary? Nice!
post some pics!

![]() Quote:
![]() Looks like the least expensive way to do this is to get the cf knock off (unless there's a FRP one -- anybody?) and paint that to match. That should shave a few hudred off the cost. Also, possible to get stronger hatch shocks for less?

YES, This is the "Actual" Nismo rear spoiler. This is not the S-tune. I origionally purchased a s-tune model. Although it came painted, it did not fit the rear deck lid bolt hole pattern. More over, it was not the true nismo style I was looking for. With Z1's help, I was able to obtain the Nismo spoiler I wanted. $2,400 for parts, $900 for paint and install. The final look, priceless. I will send before and after pics in my next blog.
