It seems to think for a full second before the car actually starts to turn over. Why is this? Does it need to build up a charge or something? Why can't it start right away instead of waiting? Call me impatient. But that's what I want.
No way! ...... I want my money back!

Very comforting to know, my car has never in the blink of an eye cranked upon me pushing the button.

I've actually let the clutch pedal out too soon before b/c the car hasn't finished cranking and have to start all over again. Not a big deal but something I've noticed.

No issues on mine, unless I let the clutch out too soon. Oops.

That's a lot of thuts. I think mine has 2 maybe 3 thuts and a VROOM.
Manual, and I do have to bottom out the clutch.

I wonder if the clutch thing is an ECU thing that could be fixed or if it's some sort of mechanical switch.

I used to have this problem because I held the button down. Now I just give it a quick push and release and it fires right up.

There is a switch that is actuated by the pedal arm. Can't remember for sure if switch is wired to ECM or BCM. The FSM is your friend.

Thus, physical key = much faster.

I agree. When I use my battery operated key on her, it takes longer than my physical key does.
