Im outa work and bored for the holidays so i decided I would take the z to the local body shop and get the bug damage on the front taken care of. A shout out to Piedmont Collision on Southport rd for the great price and all the help they seriously have been awesome. They let an anal customer come in take pics and talk to the hands on guys all along the way! They are also gonna buff and touch up the car from front to back no extra charge! I got to take pics of the final painted parts today and it looks gorgeous! i can already tell im gonna have to eventually do the rest of the car cuz this black pearl paint is absolutely gorgeous brand new and without all the factory orange peel! i mean it is freaking beautiful!!! Anyways they did a great job here is some pics theyre gonna keep the car till monday and let the paint harden before they buff and polish it. super excited :DDDDDDDDD

Well they charged 750 to paint the whole front end which was an awesome deal i had them walk me theough their facility to see their paint and how they mixed and their booth before hand because im picky like that haha they had one of the nicer paint booths ive seen so i went with it. They even put on 4 coats of clear and they used some pretty expensive paint judging by the prices on the cans (siekens brand or something?). Anyways i had them keep it a few extra days to let it cure up good. Also theyre gonna touch up and buff the rest of the car. Overall im very pleased with everything!

People always complain about nissan paint! its actually not that bad. Pick up a porter cable, some good pads and compound. BOOM paint will look better then before you even bought the car!

Might work for swirl marks but the front bumper rock chips and bug marks arent gonna buff out im sorry to say.

should have had them paint the door handles while they had it, but looks good!

I thought about it but im not a huge fan of the whole murdered out look. I do want to get the headlights modded but I think that will be it as far as exterior mods. I went to the nismo package primarily so i wouldnt have to do much to the exterior. Thinkin about trying to find someone that wants to go back to oem headlights and offering to trade for their modded ones.
