I have to see what they can do, but I was thinking more along the lines of where the upper radius on the knobs curles down towards the bottom have a circular row of stitching to join the top and bottom halves the top half would be one piece with a hemmed cutout for the logo/sticker, and the bottom half would be seamed at the front.

Dropped one of each knob off at the upholstery shop during my lunch, hopefully they will be done soon so I can get an idea of the added cost of the covering.

similar but different it should be done today or tomorrow. The upholstery shop is making patterns and playing with stiching to see what will work best.

got the first knob from the upholsterer today so just need to put together pricing and get the stickers in. It looks more like the TRd knob above so far as the stitching I'll try to get a pick up. So far the list of finishes is going to be polished or machined gold, powder coated(choice of color), upholstered in black leather.

I am waiting to get the 6 speed shift pattern logos in, and sort out a better upholstery solution before I post up the pricing. This was always a side project so I only have time to work on it when I'm not doing something else, and I have been working on a lot of new development stuff lately. That said I have installed one in my car for "testing" and I love it. Instal was easy to get the logo straight and Is a definite improvement over the factory knob. I may end up having Sam release the machined, polished, and powder coated finishes before the upholstery because I'm having a hard time finding an affordable shop that can consistently produce a quality I am happy with. No point in making the knobs as nice as I did if the leather cover looks like crap.
