Trunk lighting solution needed
IT'S DARK IN THERE!
I carry 2-3 small shopping bags and invariably the light gets covered up and I can't see a thing. First world problem maybe, but I'm up for ideas. I can't be the first operson who wishes that the trunk had better lighting. Can I put a light on the hatch side of things? Or small LEDs or something? WHat has anyone done to light up the trunk? Because what's there really isn't doing so great. |

If only you could redirect the headlights to the hatch...
Carry a flashlight.

Yep I carry a flashlight, looking for a prettier solution. I was thinking of a string of white LED lights snakng around the edge of the trunk but on the underside of the lip so as not to blind me when I look in, and so that light is put in from all directions and all sides and corners of the trunk itself.

Easy fix. Tap into the trunk light to power several of these. They have an adhesive backing to you can mount them almost any where just need to run wires.
