Led question
I ordered bulbs from superleds.com. They are CAN bulbs. Is this good or bad and is there a difference in bulbs? Says they replace the trunk, map, and trunk bulbs.
I got neat red ones for map and trunk for my red Z. You might want to check them out on line.
I just a nice white light instead of the yellow. Hope they work.
Link? The only thing I can come up with is that CAN may mean "Candelabra base" (smaller version of the standard, screw-in house light base).
Said they can be used in CAN bus bulbs. Seems to have to do with the warning systems in cars that say the light is burned out in the car.
Looks like I got the wrong ones. Returned them. Something weird about the LEDs. Any places where I can order good super white LEDs?

OK. Not sure what the CAN bus has to do with it but the BCM does monitor current flow to the lamps. Many LEDs do not draw enough current and the BCM thinks the bulb is burnt out. It would seem those LEDs have a low enough resistance to keep the BCM happy.
Lots of threads on LEDs. Try https://www.google.com/#q=site:the370z.com LED |

It funny how I can see the bones in my hand when I shield myself from the map lights. |
Ordered them instead from jwmotoring. Blue inside and white on license.
