Paints half as thick as other cars. Only thing you can do is clear bra. Your new question should be who makes the best and how thick you should go.

As a new owner with the clear bra installed, I wanted to make a recommendation you shop around for installers. I had mine done by the dealership when I bought my car and overpaid because I wasn't up to date on the whole clear bra thing. Last time I had "bra" on a sports car it was black vinyl and came from Autozone. ha ha. My dealer outsourced the clear bra to an install shop. So basically I gave my dealer some extra cash. Mine is 3M brand. If you go to their website you can find installers in your area. Check out the pre-cut kits online so you know how much the material costs in advance. |

+1 on the clear bra, its easily one of the better paint protection systems for the front of the car without having that old school leather mask hanging off the front of your car.

Here are a few photos of an install we did on a 2013. IMG_5976.jpg IMG_6004.jpg IMG_5828.jpg IMG_5893.jpg IMG_5925.jpg IMG_6014.jpg With XPEL, most of our dealers use our design access program (pre-cut pattern software). This means that instead of throwing a bulk piece of film on your body panel and cutting with a blade that could possibly damage the paint you're trying to protect. The installer will plotter cut our design that fits your car perfectly. Not only will this make the installation safer, and more efficient, but it allows you to pick and choose which body panels you want covered and nested into the same piece of film i.e. the rocker panels, luggage area, door cups, etc... Our ULTIMATE film also comes with a 10 year warranty that covers against yellowing and film discoloration. If you have any questions feel free to reply here, PM us, or ask us on Facebook. |
