CF on fuel door

i saw some Z's with their fuel door painted black, or a carbon fiber vinyl wrap. i also heard someone bought CF paper and stick on the fuel door. i was wondering if anyone did this.

CZF made actual CF covers for the 350Z but hasn't for the 370Z. I am sure it can be easily done.

Just use some CF Dinoc from 3M.

Don't think for a second that stuff will make people think there's any real CF on your car. Fake CF vinyl looks fake from ten feet away. Order a little square and take a look.

You can certainly tell the difference. I would never wrap a whole car with faux CF, but I think that if used correctly it can enhance some features to the car that are not available in CF.

I covered the yellow and white airbag warning stickers on the visors with it.

I was kidding but....lol i maybe just the square on above my head i was gonna plastidip but maybe the cf would be better? Since my car is midnight blue i think itll look nice, i already plastidipped my spoiler and emblems. so maybe cf on the top of the car would accentuate it nicely. And maybe the Gas cover and maybe some interior as well.

I would use 3M over plasti dip any day, but that is jsut my personal preference. It is your car, be unique and have fun with it. If you don't like it then, remove it and if you love it...rock it!

whats the point in having an out place looking round fake CF gas door? it will stick out worse than the factory door handles.

to each his own i guess...

Fake CF > Plasti dip all day. People that use plasti dip have no right to complain about how bad fake CF looks IMO! :icon17:
