Temperature control in car

Hey guys, dumb question but anyone know how to turn of the auto temperature control in the car. I can't seem to turn it off at all, its always set at either one of the preset temperatures. I have double checked that the fan and everything is off but the auto temperature is always on. I can't seem to get rid of the light on the temperature. Any suggestions? Also, I just installed stillen g3 intakes if that has anything to do with it.

Um..if you mean how can you have that A/C light off while still running the fans, you have to turn off recirc (middle button)

The Stillen Gen 3's are notorious for permanently enabling the auto-temperature feature if installed incorrectly.

Just kidding. I have no idea what you are talking about.

Have you read the owner's manual on the operation of the A/C?

If you have the Nav? Push the right "Push Auto" knob the one with the hot cold label.

Here's the owners manual start at Pg 4-20

I push the button and nothing happens so I'm not sure.

Do you mean the Auto Climate control? Just turn the fan dial (the left knob), that will deactivate the auto mode. As for temperature just turn the temperature dial (the right knob).

you said the light with the temperatures? you mean the middle control knob? it has 2 lights. one for fresh air, and one for interior recirculation. ONE or the OTHER will ALWAYS be on.

Wow! How did you figure out what the question was? Looking back at the OP after reading your answer, I think you nailed it. Good job.

Methinks JSPEED needs to RTFM.
