Hazard button and S-mode button rewire ??

Anyone rewire their two buttons to another switch? Both have 4 wires and most aftermarket switches have just 2, maybe 3 prongs. Any idea how to configure them so I can still use them but gut the shifter plastic and console etc?

Update: I downloaded the service manual, which only identifies the 2 middle prongs as 1=ground and 2=BCM (for manual transmission).

Edit: Service manual is wrong. Correct order:
1st lead = grd
2nd lead = power out
3rd lead = power in (BCM)
4th lead = illumination of switch

So If I use this button I just hook ground to ground, power in to power, and illumination to led on the switch? Leave the power out taped up?

Although which way is 1-4?

Here's the wires. Grey is synco and whites hazards.
