Aftermarket seat heaters...

Is there a way to install an aftermarket seat heater on the passenger seat without interfering with the passenger side air bag sensor?

Sometime i find cars mfg very strange, cars exported to warm countries like Singapore came with heated seat as standard[a feature that we NEVER use],cars to those cooler countries...heated seats are option..:roflpuke2:

I deal with a shop that normally installs the heater on seat bottom and back of the drivers seat, and normally just the back of the passenger seat to avoid that sensor. The heat pad may be modified for the bottom of the passenger seat as well, but it's lots of extra work. PM me if you are willing to come to NY for the work!

My local shop who is finishing my leatherseats install told me the exact same thing and is doing it that way as well..
