HID Headlight Bulb Install....
Has any of you have changed the headlight bulb out of you 370z without taking the tire off?
I want to change the bulb but don't know if I should just pull, or twist and pull where it conects to the ballast, and if its easy to take the metal pins that holds the bulb with, with the tire on. This may be a stupid question but hope one of you have an idea of how tro do it!!!

Yes you can. Turn wheel to one side and you should be able to pop at least one plastic rivet holding the fender protector. From there you should be able to get access to your bulbs... it'll be a tight squeeze.
For HIDs, twist off the plastic cap. Turn one direction to remove the bulb socket. Then unhook the metal clip that holds the bulb. Take care not to touch the [new] bulb as you replace them. It only goes in one way.

I'm just worried that i will break something in there! Why would they make changing a bulb so dificult?

Yea, it's a bit more of a pain than the 350Z. In the 350Z, there was a bit of hope changing out the front turn signal bulbs from the engine bay area. Plus, it took 2 bolts to remove the tail lights.
When I changed out the bulbs, I already removed the entire headlight assembly for the custom mod (in photo album).
