It would be nice if someone made a LED mod for the Z's head lights where that strip is...like shown in the pic...


someone made an LED mod for the G37 which looks like this,

so, instead of a circular pattern for the Z, i think a bar of LED's would look better and different... :tup:

oh yea, the mod is called "Ironman" for the G

yup, but instead of a horizontal bar, it would be vertical..

Im having it done soonest I get the car and painted housing by the original creator of the Iron man for the 37 in NY...

Yea I did a photoshop on what im gonna do on the photoshop a while ago. I guess no1 noticed lol.

Im doin color matched with black projector and hyper white leds on the strip

IMO matching w/ the color of the car like you've above does not improve the look. So if it were me, i would just paint the housing black or charcoal gray.
and Just add the LED w/o painting its sorrounding.

you'd be surprised...all the G's that were blue and had the housing painted blue worked well


if the Z was grey, then painting it black would be good

painting it black is played out every car is gonna do tht. Colormatched headlights are hot

^^ it works good....colour matching is nice, painting black would be a band wagon thing

Im sure someone will mod the headlights very soon after release.
Cant wait to see what they come up with.
Im still trying to get used to the stock lights without modifications.

but if I panit mine black it will be color matching. But i would go black chrome.

I dont think you can paint black chrome. your best bet is doing it gloss or flat black, or gunmetal (highly suggest it looks sick!!)

the whole putting the headlights in the oven and cooking it to perfection

i bet baked head light smells good.

it's freaky to do, i would worry about making them crispy

lol i thought about doing it myself but am too scared.

i've done this on my bro's 02 rsx... didn't turn out nice....wasn't able to get the plastic headlight cover on the side to fold tightly to the back under piece...this caused it to fog up/condensate during cold weather and what not

^^^ that's why i would never what to play with it, unless i got an extra set from a junk yard...lol

shouldnt play with headlights to save few dollars. Just save up and do it the right way.

Also the black chrome thing go for it. It'll be almost the same as gloss black but go for it lol

na looks different than gloss black. will be doing mu grill and emb. on my G
