Wait a minute....One of the Z emblems on the Z Store websites is actually a direct, drop in replacement for the hamburger emblem on the front or rear ? Or is it a some kind of ill fitting kludge ?
If a drop in replacement I just may have to replace either the front or rear hamburger on my '09.

Im in the market for some nice aftermarket Z emblems too. Im still looking though.

I went with the black Evo-R badges. You need the backing.

Mine came with the carbon fiber and looked cheap to me. I copied someone else's idea and created my own backing (cut from a plastic dealer plate) and painted it body color.

Is the paint showing through not sufficient? I'm not sure what you mean by dealer plate.

I've now received the emblems from Evo-R.net and after some people were saying you need a backing and some saying you don't I finally searched and found a DIY where it showed the front badged removed, and the subsequent rectangular hole that resides beneath. I'm now looking for exactly what I need to back the emblem with and how I want to go about it. I've called the dealership and ordered some touch-up paint for whatever I decide to use. I'm leaning towards some sort of cheap plastic sign at Wally World. I'll post up when I have finished painting everything and have the new badges on.

So do you need backing?

Im going for same emblem from evor but I dont like that hole either
Any easy way to fix this?? I dont like the carbon fiber back one either
