Sucker Punch themed 370z.....
 

Hey everyone.... there is a big show coming up at me and friend here are planning to enter our cars with themes.... since we have no plans on competing... we planned on messing around.... and stealing the show with our riduculous wrapped cars.... my buddy has a G37 and is going for this theme...

so i was thinking hard the whole day and i remembered the movie sucker punched and i remembered the badass robot in it.... called the gentle giant... since i dont have a great imagination i was hoping someone here could help me out.... make it come alive on my z :tup:

and we were gonna hire a couple models to be some of the characters of sucker punch.... i bet even if we didnt enter our vq's to compete... we would definitely attract alot of attention from the show :tup: if you think im silly and outrageous... thats exactly what its suppose to be.... lol i will forever be greatful to the minds that help me make this come true.. :D show is in dec 16....:driving:

Sucker Punch could be cool. Something different at the very least.

The Falken ALMS Porsche that just won has the scary teeth going on. I thought it looked awesome but it's no longer original for your friend.

Ah but young Jedi, do you realize that the Porsche isn't original either? It's a take off on the WWII nose art used by the Flying Tigers (actually pre-WWII).

You should try and make the big Pink face on the front grill with the mouth being where our front opening is (between the fangs)...the rest of the car should be metal looking with cool rivets to accompany it. Also the jet pack in the back should be a good idea to incorporate that with the exhaust some how...and Yeah fake rail guns on each side would be sick...Good luck my friend!!! Either way the hot models will make it attractive i'm sure....

Owing mostly to the fact that Sucker Punch was one of the worst films ever made, I doubt anyone is going to get the reference when you wrap your car up like the robot. Even if you hire the chicks to stand by it... It'll just look like a Z with a crazy graphics scheme surrounded by dirty pirate hookers (not that there's anything wrong with that).

I loved that movie. It was weird and they jumped out of the box and took off running with it. I can appreciate that. And that's what Simota is looking for. I wish I was creative and good with photoshop to mock something up. Good luck and post pics of whatever you land on!

a jet pack in the back like in the trunk would be full of win.. but i dont think im badass enough to make one... however i was tryna think of a way to fab fake rails.... or borrow my buddies airsoft guns on and mount then on the sides.... i love the idea of making the body metal looking with rivets :tup: i was actually gonna jack up the rear to make it look like my z was about to "standup" and was gonna put the pink face on my roof

i loved it too man... zombies... guns... explosions... robots... i was pretty much sold at that.... :p.... ive actually been playing with this idea for about a month.... but i pulled the plug because of my lack of imagination... but when my friend said he wanted to do the monster mouth on his G i said imma ask for help

I wasn't a fan of the movie personally. If you didn't put the pictures up I wouldn't of even remembered that robot was from the movie. That being said...

If it was me...

I would wrap the whole car in that sort of distressed flat od green color. You can have the rivets and other battle damage added on.

I'd put the rabbit on the hood with the ears going onto the roof. I would then put the circle with the skull on the passenger door, and the circle with the cherries on the driver's side door. The red Japanese characters I'd put on the front. The "Gentle Giant" sticker on the front quarter panel near where it meets the hood. The 5 on the rear quarter panel. And the X's or kill marks on each quarter panel by the Z badges.

that bunny needs to be wider. that should be wider on the hood.

does anyone here know if you can paint over plasti dip? there is no flat camo green at any of the wrapping shops :facepalm: so im thinking imma plasti dip it then airbrush maybe the details on it... (ill ask my friend to do it) and then add the graphics ie bunny and all the other details on top of it? would it stick or would it peel?

Whatever you decide to go with. I'd test it on something else first. I used some automotive paint with thinner in it over some rattle can paint and the thinner had a very negative reaction to the rattle can paint. So it would depend on what kind of paint your buddy uses and if it has a reaction to the plasti-dip. Don't want to go ruin that thin Nissan paint.
