Best and worst custom racing seats.

Good advice Chuck, thanks. I forgot about the side airbags. I'm definitely only considering non-fixed backs. I just need to make sure that the SCCA class allows that as long as they are FIA.

A good choice. It didn't take long for me to understand why the guy I bought my fixed-back seats from sold them so cheaply.

Are there FIA approved adjustable seats? AFAIK the only seats that are FIA approved are fixed back.
