Finally!

tonythetiger 10-07-2013 05:53 PM

any fitment issues?

tsummitt 10-07-2013 06:15 PM

No fitment issues, had it done at Gunn Collision in San Antonio. My only complaints are that it took three full days and it was evident that they struggled getting the old spoiler off by a couple of small surface scratches close to the wing. On Monday they called and asked if i wanted the old spoiler put in the back of the car and on Wed they told me they broke it. Like most of us, I'm pretty much of a perfectionist when it comes to my Z...

Looks great

Did they offer any discount for breaking the wing?

tsummitt 10-07-2013 09:06 PM

No discount, think it was $540 paint and install :eekdance:

EVOR 10-08-2013 12:33 AM

WOW $540. I do offer painted. Looks great!

mag_black 10-08-2013 04:04 AM

If I only knew EVO-R painted, I would have done it that way! I have a few more items to order from you guys...

vividracing 10-08-2013 05:14 PM

Sheesh, it must've taken alot to break the OEM wing. New wing looks great tho! Nice job!

chii370 10-08-2013 06:12 PM

lol ive seen this thread like 3 times and dismissed "evo R" as some kind of tall dumb looking out of place rice wing in my mind. turns out its just a nismo wing. nice. looks good.

Tazicon 10-08-2013 06:18 PM

That looks nice but man that is a of money for paint and install.

It's different from a Nismo wing.

a) taller
b) different shape.

Atm121990 10-08-2013 09:18 PM

Rims?

tsummitt 10-08-2013 10:02 PM

Thanks for all the feedback!! I'm in SA, in the Med Center, spend most of my life at Methodist Hospital, Cardiology. I have received more compliments on the wing than anything else I have done; it's tasteful, not too much, and fortunately the paint match is perfect. The wheels are Work Gnosis 10.5 & 9.5 X 19, running 285's on the rear but at some point will change to 305's... Ark CBE and Berk HFCs for a really nice tone.

Luciano13 10-09-2013 02:37 PM

the wing looks sick!! time to match up the rear and front bumper, and side skirts:tup: nice project you've got started, look forward to more mods:tiphat:

(btw the 40th anniversary paint cost twice as much as any other colour to paint with. that's probably why the cost was a little higher than the norm)

mag_black 10-09-2013 02:53 PM

Post a profile shot please.

tsummitt 10-09-2013 08:01 PM

Yeah, the bra thing... I think no bra is a beautiful thing. But in regards to the car, i travel on the weekends to Austin, Houston, etc and it saves the front end. I unfasten the hooks every chance i get...

enkei2k 10-09-2013 08:11 PM

My car is female, so she doesn't like wearing a bra when she goes out if you know what I mean. She likes showing off those lines :yum:

But it is definitely different and looks like a good fit.
