You're correct there are two little dimples in the back of the emblem that I had to line up with tabs to get it to sit down. I will contact the vendor to see if it can be sent back and replaced...hell I may even just put the nissan emblem back on with the carbon fiber backing left in place. Idk

thanks for the help all and to the mod for moving this to the appropriate place, sorry for making thread in wrong place.
