Figured now is the best time to pick up a shift knob... i've had my eye on a Pwd JDM v2 knob since they came out. Finally just decided what the hell, as they're no longer available. Still have some random shops online which sell them if you want (Amazon). Sorry it didn't work out better for you Pwd... you had potential, but your customer service / quality come up wanting.

Why did you gave it away? I currently have the silver version with the 6spd engrave and titanium base, I sort of want the gold and black base though. Osbornsm, would you like trade for my silver?

yah, i just didn't care for the egg shape cause it slips out of my hand.

for our Z, i think the stock knob does very well. or the TWM biggy knobs like my big TypeR knob. :tup: but it costs like 3x as much. :ugh:

Yea, it's really is smaller compare to the oem knob, I actually haven't installed mine yet so not sure how i will feel about it. There was a TWM piston knob for sale last week but I didn't see it in time.

Osbornsm: I'll shoot you a pm with a picture of my knob (shiftknob) later. It's still in new condition and no flaws. Just let me know how you like yours when it comes in.

IMO, this was one of the best shift knobs made for the Z, especially for short shift kits.

the top of the knob where it's shaped like an upright egg for me is too round. my finger slipped a few times causing mis-shifts.

You mis-shift!!! Lol

^ I love the red base. I have the Black, sometimes wish I opted for the titanium colored base.

I like the feel of this shift knob, but I have short arms so my elbow keeps hitting the center console and it pops open sometime when I shift quickly. Anyone have this problem? I think I have to switch out to a taller knob.

zbrah- there were a few people selling the twm knobs (type-r satin one and black one and piston in black) in the forsale. dont know about the piston, but the type-r for sure, those you can set your height to raise it. :tup:

Nice knob, but it gets burning hot in the summer and freezing in the winter. Also, the serrated part of the knob snags a bit with racing gloves. Awesome price though, especially compared to the Nismo knobs

KC- I couldn't fine the ad for the piston in black, just one in satin? where do you see that?
