I didn't do any extra lighting but adding some paint sure did make a worlds difference looking from the front.

I agree. I wanted to get away from stock. Adding the paint to the housing does make a world of difference. I feel it looked better than stock once I had it painted on my car. Because of painting the housings I ended up making all the emblems black to pretty much get rid of the silver on the car. Here's a little before and after for comparative purposes.

I did neither for my door handles. Ended up using anthracite gray on the handles which was a bit darker than the gun metal paint. I originally tried black door handles but for my color car looked very odd. I agree. Didn't like the black either. Emblems are fine as black on mine but door handles seemed strange. I felt once I did one as far as removing the silver I had to keep it going haha

At first I wanted to black out my door handles but now I have to agree with you I think ill keep them stock and when I get wheels ill have black and a little bit of silver in them instead of all black.

Thanks man! I love your blue. When I had a 350Z I had the Daytona blue which I really liked. You're completely right with the emblems. When I had plasti dipped the emblems black but still had my chrome/silver lights there were a few people who saw it who told me they didn't really like it and the silver looked better however once I had my headlights customized with the black housings then it pulled it all together. It definitely flows better with doing all silver or all black, at least on my car, but doing some of both looked a little off especially the black door handles which didn't seem to mesh really at all.

I don't know if anyonr will see this or not but I am going to be painting my headlight housing black and I can't decide if I should keep my shrouds silver or paint them black.. I was also thinking carbon fiber wrapped shrouds and swoosh like nut_n_much has done. Can you guys post me some pics of red 370s with either options?
