I have been doing data logging with an oem hood and will be adding a seibon TS style soon to run comparisons. This should give a good idea of positive or negative air pressure under the good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

I've been thinking of adding some heat escape vents into the Z's hood after I've seen first hand how effective they are on the hood of my SRT Cherokee.
OP, looks good and gutsy move!

I don't know. It looks good on the vette. Not so much on the Z. Maybe a front shot will change my opinion.

I know everyone's a critic and big props to you for even attempting something like this, but I wonder if something a little more pointed would have looked better?
Like this maybe? Last edited by cooltoy; 09-15-2013 at 11:32 PM. |

Adding a string the air is defiantly moving back and up from the vent! So that's very good news. Also at a light the heat is just pouring out. Even with the car shut off, its like a fan blowing hot air in your face. Its insane how hit this motor gets. This really should be effective!

Clean silicone for windows and doors. Working temp of -60 to 400*. Will never crack, peel, leak etc. will flex and move and not cause an issue.

Off the top of my head, new vet, evos, subis, aston's etc don't have issues and all engines are protected water sealed plugs. Also I'm not the first on a Z so no, it will be fine.

Hmmm I don't know about that. It'd be nice for the cai but the triangle look is off putting I think. Might have to paint instead of doing black on something. Maybe ill paint the lower lip black for more black to even out the front.
