We mounted the wing on the car directly without the 160mm mounts...
be honest and tell me what you do, dont like :) |
Actually not bad at all IMO, but that wing is for performance, and now it is suffering. Kind of a waste of money.

Needs to be raised. Still a nice spoiler.
|
It needs to be raised. It wasn't meant to sit that low. Honestly, I'd bite the bullet and order a set of the low mounts and use those for Daily, and switch to the high mounts for any sort of HPDE/Track days. Either that, or sell the high mounts...
And it just so happens I know someone who has the same wing and wouldn't mind having a set of high mounts one day... |
Raise.

yea i know it needs to be raised but i cant find low mounts, they arent selling anywhere and the japs dont want to make them for me...what do you suggest?
is there anyone who can make them for me? |

i can buy your 160m mounts if you want to sell it!
|
ill post pictures in few days with low mounts installed :)
|
Actually that wont be that bad for high speed runs. More like a drag spoiler height. You can take about 18" length pieces of yarn and tape them to the wing along the length of it and gopro the results. You will see where the spoiler is making contact with the stream of air going over the car. That is no higher than what pops up on the 911's, if not a little bit more.

before i sent the payment to them, the agent asked me if i want low or high mounts and i said high because he said that they are 160mm, but they are higher actualy...and after 2 months when i asked him if i can change the mounts he told me that ings cant change them becaue once the order is made they cant change it.... ive made my own low brakets so i will be posting pictures in a few days :) |
