CarbonSignal V2 Hood
 

As some of you know we were working on new V2 design on the hood inspired by Amuse hood, we did a similar slightly more aggressive design two years back but this is more subtle

As always we did this in OEM hood and is available for purchase as in whole hood or just the hood vents, some kind of bodywork to make the lines and design is needed but nothing difficult.

Pictures are not great but gives an idea will post more here once another Z comes or we do a proper shoot for this yellow one

That is tastefully designed. I'm glad that the wire mesh-route wasn't taken as that makes it look cheap, especially if left silver. I definitely like the black billet used in this item.

Its kind of mesh also which we installed but liked it more as holes are bit smaller

Please make a Z-tune style center vent section to match! I have been searching for a hood similar to the NISMO 370Z RC's in Japan.

Is the mesh pictured included with the vents?

No but can be added its just a plain mesh

Would have looked better if the rows of holes in the mesh were parallel to vents.

Any photos of the installation process?

Ok guys, how many people would be interested if we offer this hood as a whole in FRP and FRP with CF vents price will be in range of 600$+ (depends on CF and paint) shipped to one spot in USA?

For the hood lock we are planning to advise to use aerocatch and can make holes in the hood as not too confident on stock latch hook.

I'd be interested in just the vents if I can get in on a group buy so I don't have to pay for shipping from Dubai.

Any update on this? I'm in the market for a hood and if this is a go, I would like to jump in on a FRP hood.
