Rebadging! Which adhesive/tape would be best?

So I am trying to rebadge my fairlady z badge. I had to take them off to plasti dip them. Now I am trying to figure out which to use.

Would the hi temp adhesive on the left work? It seems like it would last and hold the badge to the car without worry of it falling off, waterproof, and it endures hi heat temperatures. Thoughts on the adhesive on the left?

Either one will hold. The key is to let it set properly and cure. Did you consider using automotive 3M tape?

I have considered the 3M DS tape, but I feel like the tape won't hold as well compared to actual adhesive sealants. Wouldn't want my badges falling off while driving :(

Maybe that's just me.

Like it has been suggested, Use the 3M tape.

The last thing you want to do is make it near impossible for it to be removed without damaging the paint.

Just make sure you prep the area good so the 3M tape adheres good.

Yeah if you want to sell the badge, the bumper will be included.

lesson learned: dont debadge if using plasti dip

I just talked to my dad about this who's been a body man for 50 years. He told me to use the tape! The adhesives will hold but will more than likely damage the paint.

3M carries double sided automotive tape. It's crazy strong, and it's thin as well. You should be able to find it at your local autoparts store. I used it for the B pillars and kick plates.

VHB is your friend.

What no one is saying how much of a pita it is going to be to cut the stuff thin enough for the lettering. You can't cut one piece, run it along the lettering and expect it to look good.

you can cut in small strips and place them individually until you populate the majority of the back of the letters.

nothing that hard to do imho.

WELP, I finally found the industrial DS tape, it took forever and I had to go to a vinyl shop to find it. But it's finally done. At last...

Now hopefully it won't fall off haha
