Really not hard to do, especially with the Duplicolor Metalcast paint.

You can also plastic dip it...

ive read all about the plasti dip and liked the idea at first but i want something a little more permanent that doesnt look grainy or dull

You shouldn't have any fading concerns. If you mask properly, you wouldn't need to remove the badges. It's all about patience.

I've plastidipped my badges and while its hard to tell from these images they don't look grainy.

I regularly clean my car with a foam cannon and two bucket method and have not had any problems with the durability of the plastidip.

Also, if you don't want flat black you can use the plastidip glossifier.
The whole process is super easy to do and unlike painting is completely removable if you ever decide that you want to change it.

Best,
Mick

Easy way to paint them on the car is doing a reverse plasti dip. By that I mean mask a square and spray the plasti dip on car and emblems. Then you just peel the dip off the emblems. Now your all masked off and ready for real paint. When done just peel off the remaining plasti dip.

Just ordered one of these -- should have it tomorrow. New 2014 Juke nismo Emblem on Rear Gate Hatch "nismo" w Red "O" | eBay

OEM Nismo Juke badge for 2014. The O is already red, and I'll try to paint the other letters black pearl.
